Five people died due to landslides in Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh

A tiger from the Tiger Reserve in Madhya Pradesh washed away in floods

Srinagar – Heavy rains in Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh caused landslides that killed five persons. They found a 5-year-old boy among the dead. Many people got injured in that accident.

Important incidents due to heavy rains –

1. A 70-year-old pilgrim died in a landslide while going to the Vaishno Devi temple in Reasi in Jammu, while nine people were injured.

2. A newlywed couple died after a landslide collapsed on their house in Chamba in Himachal Pradesh. 401 roads in the state are currently closed.

The tiger washed away by the flood

3. Heavy rains are also continuing in Madhya Pradesh; a tiger from the Kanha Tiger Reserve in Mandla District washed away in floods. They saw a tiger floating in the Banjar River here.

4. The Meteorological Department warned about the rain in 12 Districts, including Jabalpur in Madhya Pradesh.

5. The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rain in 27 Districts of Bihar and 4 of Rajasthan.

Rains likely to hit again in the coming days

A new low-pressure area is likely to form in the northern part of the Bay of Bengal around July 24. Due to this, there is a possibility of heavy rains again in many states of the country in the coming days.
