Chand Sheikh arrested in the case of kidnapping of a Hindu girl in Sangli

The young woman was found after 23 days !

A minor Hindu girl abducted by the religious bigot Chand Sheikh.

Sangli, June 18 – The city police arrested Chand Sheikh on June 17 for allegedly luring and abducting a 17-year-old girl from the city. The police registered a case under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) against him. According to information received by ‘Sanatan Prabhat’, the minor girl was handed over to her family.

The abductor is the fanatical Chand Sheikh.

A minor Hindu girl used to live with her mother. The mother used to go out to sell vegetables. Taking advantage of the girl being alone at home, Chand Sheikh kidnapped her on May 24. When the mother returned home at night, she realised her daughter was missing. When she was not found despite searching, the relatives filed a complaint with the police, saying that Chand Sheikh had kidnapped the girl. The city police searched for her in Hubballi and Bengaluru based on technical information. They got the information about her being in Vijaypur. The police went there and arrested the two. Further investigation is underway.
