Guru Purnima is on 10th July 2025, a memorable day for a disciple as it is the day to express gratitude unto the Guru. His grace and the knowledge beyond words transmitted by Him are a 1000 times more active than on other days; therefore, whoever does Guruseva (Serves the Guru) and offers money for the Gurukarya gets 1000 times more benefit of the Guru Principle.
1. Importance of the Guru in the life of a disciple : Guru is the manifest form of the unmanifest God working on earth, working hard for the spiritual progress of His disciple by imparting knowledge. A disciple, therefore, cannot do without his Guru. The real Gurudakshina that can be offered is the disciple offering everything to the Guru and serving Him. This helps him receive the continuous flow of the Guru’s grace.
2. Donate for Gurukarya, i.e. Dharmakarya on the occasion of Guru Purnima : Guru Purnima is a good opportunity to express gratitude unto the Guru by sacrificing the mind, body and wealth as much as possible.
The spiritually curious people and well-wishers can also benefit from Guru Purnima at the spiritual level, by joining Dharmaprasar activities and donating money for the mission of protecting Dharma.
In the prevailing period, Dharmaprasar is the highest service unto Dharma, since Dharma is facing lassitude. It is, therefore, necessary to donate money for Dharmaprasar activities undertaken by Saints, organisations or institutions. Sanatan Sanstha has been doing Dharmaprasar selflessly for many years now and the donors are assured that their donations will be utilised for Dharmakarya only.
