Conspiracy to throttle Hindu leaders’ voice in South Canara District : Mohan Gowda, HJS

Bengaluru (Karnataka) – After the killing of Abdul Rahman at Bantwal on 27.05.2025, pro-Hindu leaders across the south Canara district are being targeted and conspiracies are hatched against them. In the middle of the night, the Police started going to houses of leaders of pro-Hindu organisations, treating them like accused, and filing cases against them. Cases have been filed against 15 devout Hindu activists. Many devout Hindu leaders have been banished from the district; but no case has been filed against the fanatic leaders of SDPI for their spiteful speeches. The Communal Violence Control Force is being used only against pro- Hindu organisations, stated Mr Mohan Gauda, the State spokesperson of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) after submitting a memorandum on behalf of all pro- Hindu organisations to the State DGP M A Salim on 02.06.2025. Shriram Sena’s founder-president Mr Pramod Muthalik, advocate Amruthesh N P, Mr Puneeth Kerehalli, Mr Santosh Kenchamba, Mr Govardhan Singh, Bajrang Dal’s regional joint convenor, Mr Suresh Kumar B, regional joint secretary-VHP, Mr Rajanna, south region joint convenor of Hindu Jagaran Vedike and many devout Hindu activists were present on the occasion.

A petition was submitted today to the @DgpKarnataka by the Federation of All Hindu Organizations, condemning the incident where cases were filed last night against more than 15 Hindu activists, including RSS leader Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat, and Arun Puthila was exiled. 1.Mr Mohan Gowda further stated that in Suhas Shetty’s murder case, PFI member is suspected to be involved; but the Police are not conducting investigations properly and under pressure exerted by many religious and political leaders, cases are filed against Hindu leaders.

2. Mr Pramod Muthalik informed that many Hindu leaders in Dakshin Kannada district are getting threats from Pakistan, Afghanistan and Saudi Arabia, in the name of ‘Jaish-e-Mohammad’, a terrorist organisation. PFI members are still active through SDPI. Th Government should take severe action against them.
