4 Naxals killed in Gadhchiroli

Gadhchiroli, Maharashtra – On the 23rd of May 4 Naxalites were killed in firing between the Police and the Naxals at Gadhchiroli. There was intelligence that Naxals were active in this area. Hence action was taken even though there were torrential rains in the area. The Naxals suddenly opened fire on the Police. The Police returned the fire. There was shooting from both sides for about 2 hours. A walkie-talkie and Naxal literature was confiscated from that area.

Editorial Perspective

It is a good thing that attempts to eradicate the Naxalite movement have been taken up at a war footing. The same thing should be done against terrorism. For this Pakistan, the maker of terrorists, should be destroyed.
