Chief Minister Fadnavis said: “This is a beautiful project. It stands among Maharashtra’s finest Goshalas. It demonstrates how cow preservation can drive economic models. Cows give selflessly throughout their lives. Such Goshalas prevent cows from being sent to slaughter. Here, products made from cow urine and dung will also be developed. This initiative will evolve into a centre for agriculture and livestock tourism.”

He added: “In places where cattle have declined, we see increased farmer suicides. Excessive chemical fertilisers have done grave damage, which is why we are now returning to natural farming. And natural farming is impossible without Gomata. Hence, a nation-wide and state-wide campaign for cow protection and natural farming has been launched. Self- sufficiency begins with saving our desi cows. I pray that those engaged in this divine mission receive the blessings of the Divine.” Other dignitaries also addressed the gathering.
