Only 5 days to go for ‘Sanatan Rashtra Shankhnad Mahotsav’ to begin

Ponda (Goa), 12th May – ‘Sanatan Rashtra Shankhnad Mahotsav’ is being held at Infinity Maidan, Farmagudi, Goa, from 17th to 19th May 2025 on the occasion of 83rd birthday of Sanatan Sanstha’s founder Sachchidananda Parabrahman Dr Jayant Athavale and celebrate silver jubilee of Sanstha. Only 5 days are now left for the programme to begin and preparations at the site are in full swing while all areas in Goa are resonating with the fervour being created for the programme.

The ground is being covered, work of erecting marquees at the entrance gate, widening of road for vehicles to enter the site are being completed promptly. The markings for erecting stage, place for arranging chairs, cell for media, parking places, etc have been completed and work is going on with full speed. A plinth has been built for hoisting ‘Dharma-dhvaj’ and the work related to erecting the stage is also in its last phase.

Hundreds of hoardings displayed across Goa have become centres of attraction !

Huge hoardings exhibited in frontage in Ponda

More than 600 banners and 100 hoardings in different sizes have been displayed at various places in the main cities of Goa, including airports, bus-stands, railway stations etc., to draw people’s attention. A ‘cut-out’ of Bhagawan Shrikrushna blowing a conch has been exhibited at the main place (near petrol-pump at Bori), which is also the emblem of this event, and is drawing attention of one and all. Many devout Hindus and tourists are taking ‘selfie’ with this ‘cut-out’. The writings on the boards and hoardings about ‘Sanatan Rashtra Shankhnad Mahotsav’ displayed across Goa are creating a new spiritual identity of Goa. Sanatan Sanstha’s Managing Trustee, Mr Virendra Marathe, informed that many dignitaries from abroad and within the country will be attending the programme.
