Pakistan’s General Munir responsible for the Pahalgam attack

A harsh reality check from Pakistani Professor Ishtiaq Ahmed

Islamabad (Pakistan) – After the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, it was none other than Pakistani Professor Ishtiaq Ahmed who exposed Pakistan’s role. Professor Ahmed, known for his books on the Partition of India and other issues, has held Pakistan’s Army Chief General Asim Munir responsible for the attack in Pahalgam. He criticised Munir’s provocative statement, “We (Muslims) are different from Hindus,” calling it highly inflammatory. Just days after that statement, terrorists murdered innocent civilians. Professor Ahmed stated that “Real power in Pakistan lies with the Army Chief.”

Prof. Ishtiaq Ahmed further stated,

1. General Munir has once again endorsed the two-nation theory. He made this statement to distract the public from the country’s internal crises

2. Many people like me are working to improve Pakistan’s relations with India so that trade can resume and the country’s condition can improve.

3. We have lost four wars against India and have not captured even an inch of Indian territory. On the contrary, we ended up dividing our own country (referring to the creation of Bangladesh).

4. Pakistan will once again be defamed globally and labelled as a “nation that spreads anarchy.” Even Tahawwur Rana has been extradited to India and will be forced to reveal information that will cause major problems for Pakistan.

5. After Balochistan, now even people in Sindh are rebelling. The north-eastern frontier is already burning in the flames of terrorism. To distract Pakistanis from these issues, General Munir is trying to revive the two-nation theory.

6. Pakistan’s foreign ministry is incompetent. There is no capable person there.

Munir remains silent as Islam is destroyed in China

Professor Ahmed said that Pakistan does not want to maintain relations with its neighbour India. But what kind of relationship do we have with China? Does China even resemble a “brotherly” nation in any sense ? China is atheist, and Islam is being destroyed there. Yet Munir remains silent about China, and has once again landed Pakistan in trouble.
