The attack was caused by the division between Hindus and Muslims due to Hindutva in the country : Robert Vadra

New Delhi – “I am deeply saddened by the attack in Pahalgam. The current government frequently talks about Hindutva, which has created a sense of insecurity among minorities,” said Robert Vadra, son-in-law of Sonia Gandhi and husband of Priyanka Vadra, while speaking to news agency ANI. “If you closely examine the attack, you will see that the terrorists were identifying individuals before targeting them. Why would they do this ? Because there is a growing divide between Hindus and Muslims in the country,” he added.

Vadra further stated that these terrorist organizations believe Muslims are being harassed by Hindus in India, owing to the growing divide between the two communities. (However, it’s not the terrorists but most political parties—including the Congress—that are often accused of pandering to Muslims for votes. And when attacks are carried out against Hindus, these same voices remain silent! – Editor)

He added that the terrorists specifically identified individuals before launching the attack, thereby sending a message to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. “It is important that all citizens feel safe and secure in a truly secular nation. If this is ensured, incidents like the one in Pahalgam will not recur anywhere in the country,” Vadra said.

Editorial Perspectives

  • Jihadi terrorist attacks have plagued India for the past 35 years. Despite this ongoing threat, Robert Vadra—referred to here as “Christian Vadra”— is attempting to shift the narrative by defaming Hindus and Hindutva, even though it is evident that most terrorists have a specific religious affiliation and primarily target Hindus. Hindus must seek accountability for such misleading statements through lawful and democratic means.
  • When Hindus have never attacked Muslims, their mosques, or their religious processions, does Robert Vadra ever speak up when Muslims attack Hindus, their temples, or their festivals ? He conveniently turns a blind eye. In such moments, he behaves like Gandhi’s three monkeys—see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil.
