Yogrushi Ramdev Baba withdraws after criticism from the Delhi High Court

New Delhi – A few days back Yogrushi Ramdev Baba had made a statement about ‘Sarbat Jihad’, its videos were posted on social media. During the hearing of that matter in the Delhi High Court, the court pulled them up with the words, ‘It shocks the conscience of court. Indefensible’. To which Rajiv Nayar, representing Baba Ramdev, said his client will immediately take down the video. After this the Court ordered Baba Ramdev to submit an affidavit undertaking that he shall not issue any statements or advertisements or social media posts in the future. “He can hold these opinions in his head, need not express them,” the Court remarked.

1.On the 3^rd of April Ramdev Baba launched Patanjali’s Sarbat. At that time he posted a video on ‘X’ which said, a business makes Sarbat and the money they make from the sale is used to build Madarasas and Masjid’s. Just like there is ‘Love Jihad’ and ‘Vote Jihad’ there is also ‘Sarbat Jihad’.

2.After this ‘Hamdard’ the company manufacturing ‘Rooh Afza’ filed a case against him in Delhi High Court.
