US State Department spokesperson Tammy Bruce has said that Bangladesh must abide by human rights norms and treat its citizens fairly. The US State Department made this remark after condemning violence against minorities in Bangladesh.
Recently, US Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard also criticized Bangladesh. When asked about this, Tammy Bruce emphasized the need to stop violent incidents against minorities in Bangladesh. She said, “We condemn incidents of violence or intolerance against minorities in any country. We are monitoring the situation.’
