Modi and Amit Shah depicted in jail

Surrey (Canada)– On 19th April, a Baisakhi parade was organised in Surrey to mark Khalsa Day (the day commemorating the formation of the Khalsa sect by the 10th Sikh Guru, Guru Gobind Singh). During the event, Khalistan supporters raised anti-India slogans. Thousands of people participated in the parade, many of whom were seen carrying Khalistani flags and placards with anti-India messages.

A float on a truck depicted a jail, inside which effigies of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar were placed. The jail was labeled with signs calling them ‘enemies of Sikhs’ and demanding their arrest. Khalistani supporters accused the trio of involvement in the killing of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar.
Khalistani terrorist participated in parade
Another placard read ‘Divide India’, and an announcement was made about a ‘Khalistan referendum’ scheduled to be held in Vancouver, Canada, on 1st November 2025. The slogans included provocative calls like ‘Kill Modi’ and ‘Who killed Nijjar ?’, and even the Indian national flag was disrespected. Khalistani terrorist Santokh Singh Khela was present and made an open call for separating Punjab from India to form Khalistan.
Editorial PerspectiveEven though Trudeau is no longer Prime Minister, the Khalistani influence in Canada remains unchecked, which makes it clear that the Canadian Government continues to support Khalistanis. It has now become imperative for India to give Canada a stern warning in a language it understands. |
Another Khalistani attack on Lakshmi Narayan Temple
On the same day as the parade, Khalistani supporters attacked the well-known Lakshmi Narayan Temple in Surrey. They vandalised walls and doors with pro-Khalistan graffiti and caused property damage. This temple has been attacked by Khalistani elements in the past as well.
Members of the temple committee suspect that these attacks may be pre-planned attempts to create a divide between Sikhs and Hindus. The Police have reportedly begun an investigation. (However, as Canadian Police are seen as puppets of the Government that supports Khalistanis, such incidents continue to occur ! – Editor)
Editorial PerspectiveIf Hindu temples continue to be repeatedly attacked, then it is now essential for Hindus to permanently deploy armed security guards at these temples. |
