Hubballi (Karnataka) – Sri Ram Sena National President Pramod Muthalik advised women to carry a Trishul in their bags for self-defense. Speaking at the Trident Diksha program held in Hubballi, Muthalik stated that if women face harassment or teasing, they should not hesitate to use the trident to protect themselves.Shri Durga Mata holds ten weapons in her hands. Even our Deities carry a Trishul. Today, we are giving that symbol to women. There’s no need to fear carrying it. As per the law, if a blade is more than six inches, excluding the handle, it is considered a weapon. But the one we are giving is just three inches long.So why should we be afraid to carry a Trishul ?
