Sadiq rapes a 9-year-old girl, lures her with the promise of ice cream

Chitradurga (Karnataka) – In the Agasanahalli area here, a 56-year-old Muslim man named Sadiq took a 9-year-old girl, who was playing near her home, to a hillock under the pretext of offering her ice cream and then raped her. The girl is a third-grade student. The incident left the girl terrified; when she returned home crying, her mother inquired, and the girl narrated the entire incident. The victim has been admitted to the hospital for treatment. In this case, the Chitradurga police have registered a case under the POCSO Act and arrested Sadiq.
