‘What happened in Rajapur was the result of Sanatan Sanstha’s influence’ : Sarfaraz Ahmed

Historian Sarfaraz Ahmed’s hatred towards Sanatan Sanstha exposed through a BBC report

Ratnagiri – On March 12th, a clash broke out between Hindus and Muslims near a mosque during the traditional procession of carrying a Holi tree during the Shimgotsav festival in Rajapur in Ratnagiri District. Despite the age-old tradition of placing a Holi tree on the steps of the mosque, the gates of the mosque were kept closed. Angered by the Muslims’ act of breaking the tradition, Hindus threw a Holi tree into the mosque premises. A statement by historian Sarfaraz Ahmed on this incident has been broadcast on BBC. He has said that for the past several years, the influence of Sanatan Sanstha has been growing in this area. What happened in Rajapur did not happen suddenly. Such a mentality was being created for the past few years. While all this was happening, secular organizations, institutions and parties ignored it. Today, when its effects are visible, concern or anxiety is being expressed in this regard.

Editorial Perspectives

  • Historian Sarfaraz Ahmed seems to have the mental disorder of making baseless statements. Sarfaraz Ahmed’s mudslinging on the Sanatan Sanstha, which has been working selflessly for the nation and Dharma for the past 25 years, shows his ideology.
  • Since such anti-Hindu historians (?) are ignored by the nationalist and pro-democratic media in India, anti-Hindu media like the BBC give them a platform and publicise their fake narrative.
