Amritsar (Punjab) – A young man named Zulfan, a resident of Yamunanagar in Haryana, attacked with an iron rod 5 devotees celebrating the Sikh New Year at the Golden Temple here. In this, 3 devotees and 2, doing service at the Golden Temple, were injured. It is said that the condition of one devotee and one, employed at the Golden Temple, were critical. Zulfan was caught with the help of CCTV footage and handed over to the police. After this incident, the security for the devotees at the Golden Temple has been increased. There is an increase in the checks by the Police.
