Islamabad (Pakistan) – In a press conference regarding the Jaffer Express railway hijacking, the Pakistani military reported that 31 people were killed, including 18 soldiers. However, Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) freedom fighters rejected this claim, asserting that all 214 hostages had been executed, most of whom were Pakistani soldiers.
Baloch Liberation Army’s Statements :
1. We had given the Pakistani military a 48-hour ultimatum for a prisoner exchange. This was their last chance to save lives. However, as always, they displayed arrogance and remained firm on their decision. There was no negotiation, and despite knowing the reality, they turned a blind eye. Due to the Pakistani military and government’s stubbornness, we have executed all 214 hostages.
2. We have always acted according to the principles of warfare and international law. However, instead of saving their soldiers, the Pakistani government chose to sacrifice them in battle. This stubbornness cost them 214 soldiers’ lives.
3. During our conflict with the Pakistani military, 12 of our soldiers were martyred, to whom we pay tribute. These brave warriors made an unforgettable sacrifice against the enemy. Among them, five suicide soldiers from our Majid Brigade also sacrificed their lives and gave an appropriate response to the enemy, which history will always remember.
