Not Muslims or Christians, but communists are the biggest threat to Hindus : Himanta Biswa Sarma, Assam CM

Rahul Gandhi and Mamata Banerjee think that Hindus will cease to exist : Himanta Biswa Sarma

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma

Kolkata (Bengal) – “Communists and liberals are the biggest threat to Hindus. Muslims or Christians have never been a threat to Hindus. Those who weaken Hindus are among Hindu community itself. Weakening Hindus in Bengal is the legacy Mamata Banerjee has inherited from communists and liberals,” said Assam Chief Minister
Himanta Biswa Sarma here. He was speaking at a programme organised on March 2nd.

Chief Minister Sarma further said,

1. India’s culture is more than 5,000 years old. We must remember that it did not begin with the country’s independence in 1947.

2. India is naturally a secular nation. No one needs to teach us tolerance and fraternity.

3. If Rahul Gandhi or Mamata Banerjee think that Hindus will cease to exist, they should keep in mind that Hindus have always existed and will continue to exist.

4. In Assam, the Hindu population has shrunk to 58%, while in Bengal, the percentage of Hindu community is estimated to be at 65%.

5. There are signs of a uniform civil code in the country. After Prime Minister Modi came to power, India’s revival has begun. The country is making progress in all fields, from economy to science.
