The Hindu Janajagruti Samiti presented a formal request during their meeting with Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde
Mumbai, February 20 – The Hindu Janajagruti Samiti has urged Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde to take steps for promoting the film ‘Chhava,’ which fosters national pride, in order to ensure its reach among all segments of society, including students and youth.On February 19, the film ‘Chhava’ was screened free of charge at the INOX Cinema Hall in Nariman Point, an initiative organized by Shiv Sena. Mr Balwant Pathak, the Mumbai Coordinator of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti, met Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde at the event and extended his appreciation to Shiv Sena for their efforts in making this initiative possible.Shri Balwant Pathak also appealed to Eknath Shinde, urging the Maharashtra government to promote the film in order to spread the glorious legacy of Dharamveer Sambhaji Maharaj to a wider public.
Governor of Maharashtra C.P. Radhakrishnan, MP Dr. Shrikant Shinde, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh’s associate Mr. Bhaiyyaji Joshi, the film’s producer Laxman Utekar,Shiv Sena national spokesperson Shaina N.C., famous singer Anuradha Paudwal, actor and director Bharat Dabholkar, former MLA Shishir Shinde, former MLA Atul Shah, artists Makarand Anaspure, Sonali Kulkarni, Vineet Singh and other dignitaries were present on this occasion. Anil Trivedi of Shiv Sena provided an introduction before the screening of the film.Prior to the start of the movie,the audience raised their voices in celebration of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and Dharmaveer Sambhaji Maharaj.Governor C.P. Radhakrishnan and Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde commended Producer Laxman Utekar for his efforts in creating a historical and patriotic film like Chhava.
