Temple Committee will meet the Chief Minister

New Delhi – Andhra Pradesh BJP has demanded the removal of 1,000 non-Hindus employees from the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD). Andhra Pradesh BJP Spokesperson and TTD member Bhanu Prakash Reddy said that the members of the Devasthanam Committee will meet Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu on 14th February and request him to remove non-Hindus from the temple services.
TTD had recently informed that 18 non-Hindu employees of the temple have been dismissed. All of them were found guilty of working against TTD rules. The temple management has put two conditions before these employees, one is that they should be transferred to another Government department or the other is that they should accept voluntary retirement. The Devasthanam Board had said that this decision has been taken to maintain the sanctity of the temple.
