A statement by Muhammad Yunus, chief advisor of Bangladesh interim Government

Dhaka (Bangladesh) – The Government system was completely destroyed in the country during the 15-year regime of Sheikh Hasina. Establishing democracy and economic stability in Bangladesh is a big responsibility on him, stated Muhammad Yunus, the chief advisor of the interim Government in Bangladesh. He was being interviewed by ‘Nikkei Asia’, a Japanese newspaper. Yunus also stated that after completion of hearing of cases against Sheikh Hasina, India would be officially asked for her extradition to Bangladesh. Presently, Sheikh Hasina is staying in India. Yunus dismissed the possibility of elections in Bangladesh in near future.
Yunus has claimed that the Indian Government’s concerns over attacks on Hindus in Bangladesh are baseless and a false propaganda. (It shows the mentality of Yunus. – Editor)
Editorial PerspectiveIndia should file a case against Muhammad Yunus and ask for his extradition for the current attacks on Hindus in Bangladesh. |
