Remains of idols under the steps of Jama Masjid : Hindu Sena claims
New Delhi – Vishnu Gupta, National President of Hindu Sena, has written to the Director General of Archaeological Survey of India, to conduct a survey of Jama Masjid in Delhi. Tyrant Aurangzeb had destroyed the Krishna temples in Jodhpur and Udaipur. The remains of the idols are buried under the steps of Jama Masjid. ‘Aurangzebnama’ has the proof of this. ‘Maasir-i-Alamgiri’, a book from the Mughal Era, mentions, “May 24th-25th, 1689, was the day when Khan Jahan Bahadur had returned from Jodhpur after destroying the temples there.”
1. It is written in the biography of Aurangzeb, that he was very happy when Khan Bahadur destroyed the temples, looted and vandalised the idols. The remains of the vandalised idols were sent to Delhi in a bullock cart. These idols were buried under the steps of Jama Masjid. Hindu Sena wishes to take out the buried idols and install them in the temples and for that, a survey of Jama Masjid must be conducted. The survey will reveal the truth of Aurangzeb’s tyranny and demolishing of the temples, to the world.
2. It is being claimed that the Ajmer Sharif Dargah in Rajasthan was a Hindu temple in the past. Hindu Sena President Vishnu Gupta said, “Ajmer Dargah must be declared as ‘Bhagvan Shri Sankat Mochan Mahadev Virajman’ temple. The unauthorised, illegal control of Dargah committee must be nullified and the Archaeological Survey of India must conduct a survey of the site.”
Editorial PerspectiveIn India, Muslim invaders demolished hundreds of Hindu temples and constructed mosques. They also used the remains of temples for the construction of mosques. Hindus have awakened now and are trying to get back their religious places of worship legally. Union Government must take a note of this and make a list of such places and conduct a survey. Hindus expect help from the Union Government to get back their places of worship. |
