Editorial Perspective

One cannot remain under the illusion that Bangladesh will protect Hindus simply through appeals. It is evident that the government there has a systematic policy of neglecting or even targeting Hindus. Despite ongoing attacks since August, there has been no reduction in violence. Therefore, India must exert pressure on the Bangladeshi government to take concrete actions to protect Hindus. Only through firm and decisive measures can the safety of Hindus in Bangladesh be ensured.
