The announcement by Mahadevappa, Minister of Congress Government in Karnataka
Bengaluru (Karnataka) – The Social Welfare Minister of Karnataka Dr HC Mahadevappa announced his conversion to Buddhism. On Dhamma Chakra Transformation Day on 14thOctober, Mahadevappa conveyed his good wishes on ‘X’. He said that he liked the religion that preached liberty, equality and fraternity. Equality, and liberty, were the fundamentals, but in his experience, Hinduism, suffering from the disease of caste supremacy, showed no signs of improvement (If there was any disease, it was not in the religion, but it was in the practitioners of that religion; they were made ministers without even knowing that. – Editor). So he was going to embrace Buddhism which symbolised equality and peace.
Mahadevappa further said that he wanted everyone to propagate Buddhism which was the original religion of India. (The world knew that the original religion of India was Sanatan Dharma, i.e. Hinduism; but Mahadevappa is deliberately misinforming Hindus ! – Editor)
Editorial PerspectiveWhen Buddhism was founded, it was a symbol of peace, but now the countries with his followers, viz. China, North Korea and Myanmar are witnessing massive violence and aggression. Why did’nt Mahadevappa respond to that ? Hindus never turned aggressive, nor attacked any other religion ! |
