Udhayanidhi Stalin, son of CM M.K. Stalin, appointed as Deputy Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu

Chennai (Tamil Nadu) – Udhayanidhi Stalin, a minister in Tamil Nadu cabinet and the son of Chief Minister M K Stalin, has been elevated to the position of Deputy Chief Minister of the State. He was sworn in on 29 September. Along with this, Senthil Balaji, who was released from jail 2 days ago, has also re-entered the cabinet. Dr. Govi Chezhiaan, Thiru R Rajendran and Thiru S M Nasar have also sworn in as ministers. Senthil Balaji was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate in June last year. In February this year, he resigned from the cabinet.

A few months ago, Udhayanidhi Stalin had remarked ‘Sanatan Dharma is against equality and social justice. Therefore, instead of opposing it, it must be eradicated. Diseases like dengue, malaria and COVID cannot be resisted. They should be eradicated. In the same way, Sanatan Dharma should also be eradicated.’

Editorial Perspective

The unrighteous mindset of the DMK, the party which criticises Sanatan Dharma, is apparent. It is a shame for the Hindus of Tamil Nadu that a staunch anti-Hindu person is their Deputy Chief Minister.
