The Ganga is just 44 cm below the danger mark in Varanasi. 85 ghats and 2 thousand small and big temples have gone under water.
Floods in 9 Districts of Bengal

Floods have also occurred in Birbhum, Bankura, Howrah, Hooghly, North-South 24 Parganas, East-West Medinipur, West Vardhaman Districts of Bengal. Two people have died in 24 hours due to the floods.
Heavy rains in 24 Districts of Madhya Pradesh

Heavy rains have been recorded in more than 24 Districts of Madhya Pradesh. The State has so far received 41 inches of rain during the monsoon season, which is 10% more than the average rainfall.
Warning of heavy rains in Rajasthan
