Complaint made by female officer

Srinagar (Jammu and Kashmir) – The Police here have registered a case against the Wing Commander of the Air Force’s Srinagar base following a complaint by a woman flying officer of the Indian Air Force. A Woman Officer lodged a complaint of rape and sexual harassment by the Wing Commander at the air force headquarters in Srinagar. The Air Force has ordered an inquiry into the matter.
Harassment during New Year party
On 31stDecember, 2023, a New Year’s party was organised at Vayudala’s Srinagar station. Then the Wing Commander called me into the room and raped me and then mentally tortured me, alleged the Woman Officer. A case under Section 376 (2) of the Indian Penal Code has been registered against the Air Force Wing Commander at the Budgam police station. This clause is meant for senior officials.
