New Delhi – The meeting of US diplomats with opponents of the Modi Government is being discussed on social media. Retired Army Brigadier V Mahalingam has raised questions about the US diplomatic officials meeting leaders of opposition parties. He has also written about his suspicion of a brewing conspiracy.

US Minister meets Omar Abdullah in Srinagar while Consul General meets Owaisi in Hyderabad

Retired Brigadier V Mahalingam said in a post on ‘X’ that, ‘US Minister Graham Meyer, Secretary Gary Palgarth and Political Advisor Abhiram met National Conference Vice President Omar Abdullah at Gupkar’s residence in Srinagar on August 26. The National Conference leader is said to have asked US diplomats to withdraw the travel advisory issued by the US to Jammu and Kashmir. Along with this, many issues related to Jammu and Kashmir and the region in general were discussed. US Consul General Jennifer Larson met AIMIM President Asaduddin Owaisi in Hyderabad earlier this month. Why are the US diplomats meeting opposition leaders in sensitive areas like Srinagar and Hyderabad ? Is there any hidden purpose behind this ?’
