Abduction and forced conversion of a minor Hindu girl in Pakistan

Second incident in 13 days

Karachi – Sameer Ali, a resident of Shahdabkot, abducted a 15-year-old Hindu girl named Sangeeta. He forcibly converted her to Islam. Faraz Parvez, a Pakistani Christian activist revealed the details. After conversion the girl was named Hamida. Though she was a minor, Sameer Ali forged her documents and showed her age as 19 years. After this he forced her to write an affidavit. This is second case of such crime registered in 13 days.

On 2ndJune Sohana Sharma was abducted by the tuition teacher, in the presence of her mother and converted. After this she was forcibly married to a Muslim youth from Sindh Province. After Sohana’s father lodged a complaint with the Police the accused was produced before the Court after five days. The victim girl told the Court
that everything that happened, was against her will and done forcibly and she wanted to stay with her father. Even after the girl’s statement, the Court did not send her with her father.

Editorial Perspective

Union Government should demand an explanation from Pakistan. There is no alternative to Hindu Rashtra to stop the plight of Hindus.
