Two religious fanatics involved in smuggling and slaughtering of cows abscond in Karnataka

Belthangady – Sub-Inspector Udayravi Pai of Punjalakatte Police station received information that Siraj from Karai village slaughters cows and sells their meat and Ashraf from Puttil village smuggles cows. Acting on the same, the Police went to their homes, but they absconded. Police are looking for them.

1. The Police reached Ashraf’s house. At that time, Ashraf was unloading the animals from the vehicle. He fled the scene after seeing the Police. Police have seized two animals, a vehicle and a cell phone.

2. After that, the Police went to the house of Siraj, who slaughters the cows. Animal meat, tools used for it, and other items have been found in the shed at the back of his house. Police have taken the statement and registered a case against Ashraf and Siraj.
