Israeli citizens banned in Maldives

Male (Maldives) – The Maldivian Government has decided to ban Israeli passports in support of Palestine in the Israel-Hamas war. Citizens of Israel will be banned from entering the Maldives following a change in passport rules.

Maldivian Home Minister Ali Ihusan said that the cabinet has set up a special committee to speed up the process of amending the passport law. This committee includes senior officers and leaders of the country. The cabinet has also decided to discuss with Islamic countries to raise funds for Palestinian citizens. A march will also be organized under the name ‘Maldives with Palestine’. Our mission is to show solidarity with Palestine.

Demonstrations against Israel have been going on for the past 1 month in the city of Male. The people of Maldives are demanding that the entry of Israeli citizens into Maldives should be banned. Every year more than 1 million tourists from different countries come to Maldives, out of which 15 thousand tourists are Israeli citizens.

One more Islamic country has now been added to Israel’s enemy nations. Israel will answer the Maldives in its language, no doubt and Indians will like it too.
