Agreement between the two countries
Colombo (Sri Lanka) – The Sri Lankan Government will release 43 Pakistanis in the Sri Lankan prisons. An MoU has been signed between Pakistan and Sri Lanka in this regard. According to this, both countries will release the prisoners in each other’s jails. The Pakistani newspaper ‘Dawn’ has published a news article in this regard. According to this, Pakistan Home Minister Mohsin Naqvi recently discussed with Sri Lankan High Commissioner Admiral (Retired) Ravindra Chandra Srivajay Gunaratne.

Recently, a court in Sri Lanka has sentenced 10 Pakistani nationals for drug trafficking. The anti-narcotics squad caught him and presented all the evidence before the court.
