Possibility of a verdict in the high-profile Dr Dabholkar murder case on 10th May

Pune – Dr Narendra Dabholkar, Chairman of the ‘Anti-Superstition Committee’, was murdered on Maharshi Vitthal Ramji Shinde Bridge on 20th August 2013. Initially, the investigation was conducted by Pune Police and the Anti-Terrorism Squad. Later, it was transferred to the CBI. In this case, Sachin Andure, Sharad Kalaskar, Sanatan Sanstha’s seekers Dr Virendra Tawade, Vikram Bhave, and advocate Sanjeev Punalekar were arrested. Since then, for over 10 years, this case has been in the Court. The trial is underway in the Court of Special Judge P P Jadhav. Now, after such a prolonged period, a verdict in this high-profile case is likely to be delivered on 10th May 2024
