A special CBI Court in Lucknow acquitted all 32 accused in the 1992 Babri Masjid demolition case. Those acquitted include senior BJP leaders LK Advani, Murli Manohar Joshi, Vinay Katiyar, Uma Bharati, Kalyan Singh and Sadhvi Ritambhara.
The judge observed that the demolition of Babri was not a premeditated act, it happened suddenly. He acquitted the accused, saying there was no concrete evidence against them. The Court said that Vishwa Hindu Parishad has not played any direct or indirect role in this.
Court should take stringent action against Katju (who said that said that Nirav Modi will not get justice in India), by withholding of his pension and retiral benefits so that it becomes a paradigm model for the whole country and people like Katju dare not play with the security of the country.
