After 11 years permission given to register crime against a Railway Officer who was robbing railway of its beds and chairs

Railway Employee Kaptan Singh’s succeeds in his battle

Gwalior (Madhya Pradesh) – Special Railway Tribunal orders after 11 years the filing of a case against a Senior Railway Officer in the case of robbing beds and chairs from the Railway Factory. In this matter Railway employee Kaptan Singh said, on the night of 19thSeptember 2014 1 bed and 4 chairs were taken from the Guest House of the Railway Spring Factory at Sithouli (Gwalior) to Senior Officer Vivek Prakash. On enquiring he was told that the articles were being taken after due permission. But as the matter seemed suspicious the matter was investigated. It was found that false gate passes were used to steal Railway Property. The matter was reported to Senior Railway officers. But as there was no action taken in this matter a complaint was filed with the Special Railway Tribunal. In that case the Court has issued order in 2025 that a case is to be filed against Vivek Prakash. I have no personal grudge against my senior officer Vivek Prakash. Appropriating Railway property in this manner is a crime. If a Senior Officer is doing it makes it that much more serious. The question arises, are the rules and regulations only for ordinary people?

Editorial Perspective

Congratulations to Kaptan Singh who fought against corruption of senior officers. When every citizen begins to be honest and ready to fight corruption. Then there will be no corruption in the country.
