
Mumbai – With the help of an Indian Air Force helicopter, 267 election officials were landed in Naxal-hit Gadchiroli-Chimur Lok Sabha constituency in Maharashtra on 17th April. Voting machines were also taken down this time. Voting will be held in Gadchiroli-Chimur Lok Sabha constituency on 19th April. Gadchiroli-Chimur Lok Sabha Constituency consists of 6 assembly constituencies. This constituency is known to be highly sensitive and Naxal-infested. This includes Mulchera, Etapalli, Bhamragarh, Aheri and Sironcha taluks.
