Significant rise in attacks on Hindus in the US : Indian-origin MP expresses concern

Washington, US – About the significant increase in attacks on Hindus and Hindu temples in the US, the MP of Indian origin Thanedar has expressed concern. In a press conference organized at ‘The National Press Club’, MP Thanedar said that attacks on Hinduism are increasing in the US. Misinformation is also being spread online and through other social media. Despite our complaint, the US administration has not taken any action. So far, none of the attackers have been arrested. (Shame on the US administration, which considers itself a democratic country – Editor)

MP Thanedar said,

It seems that the attacks against the Hindu community will increase further. The need of the hour is for the Hindu community in the US to come together. I stand firmly with you.

I grew up practising Hinduism from my childhood. Hinduism is a very peaceful religion. Hinduism does not attack other religions. Yet the Hindu community is misrepresented, misconstrued and sometimes deliberately so.

Attacks on Hindu temples are taking place in a planned manner. Due to this, an atmosphere of fear has been created in the Hindu community.
