Kolkata – Hindu devotees and BJP workers who were going to immerse the Idol of Shri Kalimata were attacked by a mob of Muslim fanatics at Diamond Harbor in North 24 Parganas district of Bengal on 8th April. The video of this incident has also been circulated on social media.
BJP activist said, ‘Our workers and booth president were attacked while the bhajans of Shriram were being played during immersion. This place is notorious for the political terrorism of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s nephew and his goons and riots are going on here.
BJP leader Dev Dutt Majhi alleged that Trinamool Congress Block President SK Shamim had sent an entire force of over 100 jihadis from Falta towards Sarisha to attack the immersion procession.
