Biden issues warning to Israeli PM Netanyahu during phone conversation

Washington (USA) – US President Joe Biden called Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, urging an immediate halt to the ongoing conflict with Hamas in Gaza. Biden emphasised the need to protect Palestinian civilians and foreign aid workers, warning that US support for Israel’s actions against Hamas may be reconsidered otherwise.
On the other hand, former US President and presidential candidate Donald Trump suggested that Israel should cease its ongoing conflict, expressing concern over the escalating violence in Gaza. He called for a swift resolution to end the conflict, as heavy Israeli attacks continue in the region. The situation has raised alarm and concern in the US, with casualties exceeding 33,000 thus far.
