God sent Sachchidananda Parabrahman (Dr) Athavale to establish the Hindu Rashtra : Bharatacharya Prof. SG Shevde
I have known Sachchidananda Parabrahman (Dr) Athavale for a long time. In 1985, we went on a pilgrimage to Badrinath and Kedarnath. Those days, I had a tour business specializing in pilgrimages. It was a sweet coincidence to be His companion for the Badrinath tour. I am proud of the gigantic work of protecting and reinstating Dharma being performed by Sanatan Sanstha. These days, we find numerous so-called ‘staunch’ Hindus who pay lip service to Hindutva – these hypocrites speak highly of Hindutva; but, they do not even recognize Hindus who proactively work to serve Hindutva as their own. Those who abide by Dharma are devout Hindus in the true sense. Hindu Dharma is the only Dharma in this world, while the rest are merely religions. When I mentioned this in a speech as part of the ‘Jagatik Hindu Parishad’ in 1980, the attendees were delighted as they realized that the English vocabulary does not have a synonym for Dharma, since the contributors to the English dictionary were not aware of the concept of Dharma. Against this backdrop, Sachchidananda Parabrahman (Dr) Athavale named His organisation after Sanatan Dharma, and it has walked the path of Dharma in the true sense.
He built Sanatan Sanstha in challenging circumstances. He started its centres in various cities and villages to introduce the science of Spirituality, moulded the spiritually curious into seekers, conducted spiritual discourses, organised events to celebrate Hindu festivals and started a staunch Hindu Periodical – Sanatan Prabhat. I wholeheartedly support all the activities of Sanatan Sanstha and bless them. God wishes that the ‘Hindu Rashtra’ be established based on Hindu Dharma, and some individuals are striving to make it a reality. I firmly believe that God has sent Sachchidananda Parabrahman (Dr) Athavale to fulfil His mission. It gives me immense pleasure that Sanatan Sanstha has been contributing to this Divine mission to protect and reinstate Dharma. Hence, I wish Sanatan Sanstha and its wide range of activities the very best. – Bharatacharya Prof. SG Shevde
Sanatan Sanstha is educating Indians : Brigadier Mahajan (Retd.)
Sanatan Sanstha is celebrating its 25th Anniversary. Best wishes for its future endeavours. Sanatan Sanstha takes various initiatives, with ‘Sanatan Prabhat’ Periodicals being of great importance. These Periodicals feature a range of articles of national and international importance alongwith Editorials containing highly significant writings. These highlight the fact that India’s security depends on the vigilance of its citizens. If threats are to be faced successfully, the existing security systems will not suffice; contribution of every Indian is essential. Accordingly, the task of educating the society is done by ‘Sanatan Prabhat’ Periodicals and Sanatan Sanstha.

Accomplishing such significant work (being performed by Sanatan Sanstha) is not possible without Divine support : Vaidya Pareexit Shevde
In general, most religious sects have a proper system in place for religious education. However, in the current context, this stands as the most significant shortcoming within Hindu Dharma. The absence of a structured system for religious education has been addressed substantially by Sanatan Sanstha. Their achievements, especially during the Silver Jubilee year, underscore their comprehensive progress. Beyond mere discourse and writing, actively engaging with communities and adeptly navigating various challenges and crises over many years reflects an endeavour that has Divine support.
It is not possible to undertake such significant work without Divine support. Sanatan Sanstha’s support and promotion of Ayurveda, coupled with their dedicated efforts to consistently impart this knowledge to seekers through various mediums such as books, hold great significance.
When invited as a speaker for events organised by Sanatan Sanstha, I have noted their meticulous planning and disciplined approach, in creating a sattvik environment. I have previously emphasized the importance of having a dedicated practitioner when establishing an organisation, and I believe that Sanatan Sanstha’s work, guided by the verse from Dasbodha (20.4.26), is a testament to the foundation being rooted in the Divine, as articulated in the verse by Samartha Ramdas Swami :
सामर्थ्य आहे चळवळीचे । जो जो करील तयाचें ।
परंतु येथें भगवंताचें । अधिष्ठान पाहिजे
This verse emphasizes the idea that while human effort and capability are essential, the ultimate source of strength and foundation is attributed to the Divine. It underscores the importance of recognising the role of Divine support and guidance in all endeavours.

Sanatan Sanstha leads seekers to their goal and Sanatan’s seekers are an array of various qualities !
A letter Mr Sharad Bapat wrote on 15.3.2023 to Sachchidananda Parabrahman (Dr) Athavale after the devotees of Saint Bhaktaraj Maharaj stayed for a few days in Sanatan’s Ramnathi Ashram. |
Hari Om Tatsat to Sachchidananda Parabrahman (Dr) Athavale Kaka !
1. Stay at Ramnathi Ashram made us realise that only Sanatan Sanstha takes seekers to their ultimate goal
A. We reached Indore safely on 13.3.2023 after bidding a fond farewell to You and all seekers. These memorable days were and will remain unique, wonderful, and unforgettable for all of us – the residents of Bhaktavatsalya Ashram, Indore. Our stay at Sanatan Ashram in Ramnathi was very pleasant and overwhelming.
B. We will always remember the daily routine, warm and cheerful behaviour of the seekers in the Ashram, taking care of our hospitality with constant pleasantness. All the seekers who maintain cleanliness and sanctity of the Ashram premises are really praiseworthy.
C. We noticed cleanliness, purity and a very calm and pleasant environment in the Ashram. Sanatan Sanstha is the only organisation that guides seekers towards their ultimate goal by very lovingly pointing out the pitfalls on the spiritual path. Sanatan Sanstha is a resting place for seekers who have voluntarily accepted the spiritual path as a vow that travels from the vyashti) to the samashti.
2. There is no match to the work of seekers who dedicate their body, mind and wealth !
A. There is no match to the work of seekers Mr Dinesh Shinde, Ms Priyanka Rajhans, Ms Tejal Patrikar and Ms Mangala Marathe, who have dedicated their body, mind and wealth. We received their very loving, very smiling, polite guidance. I am very thankful to them ! We salute their loyalty, faith and dedication !
B. The most important section is the one that manages meals. H.H. (Ms) Rekha tai Kankonkar’s disciplined, neat and clean management provided us with extraordinary and wonderful experiences. She is indeed Deity Annapurna. After seeing the management of meals, the thought of ‘Annadata Sukhi Bhava !’ (May the provider of food be blessed) crossed our minds while having Prasad.
C. The well-equipped Audio-Video Studio was our special attraction. We also had a glimpse of the calm nature of Mrs and Mr Sutar, Mr Atul Badhale, Mr Vinay Kumar and Mr Kedar Naik, the ever-smiling and polite seekers who do excellent and skilled recording.
D. There is no match to the devotion of seeker Mr Bhanu Puranik.
E. Seekers Mr Sagar Mhatre, Mr Swapnil Naik, Mr Parashuram Patil, Mr Suraj Patil and Mr Bhagwant Naik who always work with spontaneous spirit of service will always be remembered by all of us.
Glory be to Saint Bhaktaraj Maharaj and H.H. Ramanand Maharaj ! What more can I write ?
Humbly Yours, Sharad Bapat
