Hindu families display ‘House for Sale’ boards amid fear
In the aftermath of the incident, several Hindu families have put up “House for Sale” signs outside their homes, expressing their intent to leave the area. The boards carry messages such as: “Hindus are migrating. YogiJi, please help,” “This house is for sale,” and “Hindus are in danger.” Residents have appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for assistance.
Kunal’s mother said, “We were already considering selling our house and relocating. I never imagined my son would be killed. He had no connection to the conflict; he became a victim of someone else’s anger.”
His father added, “I saw 4–5 boys attacking my son with my own eyes. Many Hindu families have already left this neighbourhood, and now more are planning to do the same.”
