Hindus put up “House for Sale” boards to flee

New Delhi – On the night of 17thApril, at 8 PM, a 17-year-old Hindu boy named Kunal was brutally stabbed to death by Muslims in the Seelampur area of Delhi. The incident sparked outrage among local residents, leading to a road blockade protest and heightened tensions in the area. A heavy Police presence has since been deployed. Initial reports suggest that the murder stemmed from a personal dispute.

Hindu families display ‘House for Sale’ boards amid fear

In the aftermath of the incident, several Hindu families have put up “House for Sale” signs outside their homes, expressing their intent to leave the area. The boards carry messages such as: “Hindus are migrating. YogiJi, please help,” “This house is for sale,” and “Hindus are in danger.” Residents have appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for assistance.

Kunal’s mother said, “We were already considering selling our house and relocating. I never imagined my son would be killed. He had no connection to the conflict; he became a victim of someone else’s anger.”

His father added, “I saw 4–5 boys attacking my son with my own eyes. Many Hindu families have already left this neighbourhood, and now more are planning to do the same.”

Editorial Perspectives

  • It is shameful for Hindus and their organisations that such a situation exists not in an Islamic country, but in the capital of India.
  • If Muslims can eliminate Hindus like this without holding any power, and even with a Hindu-led Government Hindus cannot be protected, this reality is deeply concerning.
