India rebukes Bangladesh for comments on Murshidabad violence !

New Delhi – Bangladesh should focus on its internal affairs rather than interfering in India’s domestic matters, stated the Ministry of External Affairs in response to comments made by Bangladesh regarding the recent violence in Murshidabad, Bengal.
India has strongly rebutted Bangladesh’s remarks concerning the recent violence in Murshidabad, West Bengal. In a sharp statement, Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said, “We reject the comments made by Bangladesh regarding the incidents in Bengal. While India continues to express concern over the persistent persecution of minorities in Bangladesh, this attempt to draw a parallel is both misplaced and misleading. Bangladesh should focus on safeguarding the rights of its own minority communities instead of making unwarranted statements about India.”
