Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) – During an event organized by the Hindi daily Amar Ujala, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said, “Today, Murshidabad is burning. Remember, before 2017, similar incidents used to happen in Uttar Pradesh as well; but today, the state is free from riots.”
“Earlier, even Uttar Pradesh was burning like Murshidabad, but today it's riot-free!” – CM Yogi Adityanath 🔥➡️🕊️
To make a state riot-free, it's essential to crack down on the fanatic rioters — just like Narendra Modi did in Gujarat and Yogi Adityanath is doing in UP 💪⚖️

He further mentioned that before 2017, the Muzaffarnagar riots in Uttar Pradesh continued for six months. In Bareilly, four riots took place within a year. Districts like Aligarh, Lucknow, Kanpur—and almost every other district—witnessed communal unrest.

Whenever a festival approached, the enthusiasm around it would diminish because decent, law-abiding people feared the possibility of riots. Business owners were hesitant to operate, worried that their goods might be destroyed in the violence. Today, such incidents no longer occur—Uttar Pradesh is riot-free and now celebrates every festival with full enthusiasm.

Not a single theft was reported during Kumbha Mela despite a crowd of 66 crore
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath stated that people from all over India came to attend the Kumbha Mela. More than 66 crore devotees arrived in Prayagraj. Yet, there were no incidents of looting, theft, kidnapping, or any other crime. Not a single criminal activity took place during that time. The people of Uttar Pradesh and Prayagraj demonstrated great discipline and maturity. This leads us to ask – how did Uttar Pradesh transform so drastically ? This is the same state where riots used to break out every second or third day.
Editorial PerspectiveTo ensure a riot-free environment, it is necessary to take strict action against those fanatic Muslims inciting violence. Narendra Modi did this during his tenure as Chief Minister of Gujarat, and now Yogi Adityanath is doing it in Uttar Pradesh. Hindus in those states should raise this question – Why are other state Chief Ministers not able to do the same ? |
