Congress is aware of the atrocities committed against the Hindus in Bangladesh

New Delhi – Religious minorities, especially our Hindu brothers and sisters, are being continuously persecuted in Bangladesh. There the Minorities are suffering continuous atrocities. The murder of the Hindu leader Bhavesh Chandra Roy is proof that Narendra Modi’s meeting with the Chief Advisor of Bangladesh has failed, said Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge in his post which is going viral.
Kharge further said that according to the reply given by the Indian Government in Parliament, there were 76 attacks on Hindus in the last 2 months, in which 23 Hindus were killed. Attacks on other religious minorities are also continuing. Recently, the Chief Advisor of Bangladesh made very condemnable and disappointing comments about the northeast states of India. The atrocities against religious minorities in Bangladesh, human rights violations and attempts to erase the memories of the 1971 liberation war are a form of straining relations between India and Bangladesh.
Editorial PerspectiveWhether it is Bangladesh or Bengal, Congress’ talk about the need of protecting Hindus is only its crocodile tears. |
