TMC nominates Saayoni Ghosh for Lok Sabha elections

Kolkata – Mamata Banerjee’s Trinamool Congress (TMC) party has announced its candidates in Bengal for the Lok Sabha elections. The party has nominated actress Saayoni Ghosh from Jadavpur constituency in West Bengal. In 2015, Saayoni Ghosh had hurt the religious sentiments of Hindus by posting an obscene image of a condom wrapped around Shivalinga on social media. Ghosh had written a caption, ‘Gods couldn’t have been more useful’. A case was also registered against her over this post. While explaining the post, Ghosh had claimed that someone hacked her Twitter account and tweeted this post.

Editorial Perspective

The TMC party headed by a Hindu (Mamata Banerjee) has nominated another Hindu candidate who had denigrated Hindu Deities in the past, and attempts to woo Hindu voters to vote for such candidate can only exist in a Hindu majority country. Shame on Hindus !
