
Sambhal (Uttar Pradesh) – Samajwadi Party MP Dr Shafiqur Rahman Barq passed away on 27th February due to a heart attack. He was 94 years old. Presumably, 20 days ago he was admitted to a private hospital in Moradabad due to a kidney infection.
His political journey started in 1974. Dr Barq was the oldest member of Parliament. He was known as a great Muslim leader in Uttar Pradesh. He was 5 times MP and 4 times MLA.
Shafiqur Rehman Barq’s India hatred, Hindu hatred, and radical Islam
1. Barq had said on the occasion of the inauguration of Shriram Mandir that our (Babri) Masjid was demolished by force. It was against humanity. I pray to Allah that we get back our Babri Masjid.
2. During the oath ceremony in the Lok Sabha in 2019, Barq avoided saying Vande Mataram as it was anti-Islamic.
3. He had demanded the offering of namaz in the newly inaugurated Parliament.
4. He had recently said that there is no Shivalinga in Gyanvapi.
5. He had said that “Hamas is not a terrorist organisation”.
6. Barq supported the Taliban regime established in Afghanistan in 2022.
