Hindu prisoners attacked by Muslim prisoners for celebrating Shri Ramotsav in the prison on 22nd January in Vijayapura (Karnataka)

It is alleged that the attack was done on the provocation of the Muslim prison superintendent!

Vijaypur (Karnataka) – While the Idol of Shriramlalla was enshrined in the Shriram Temple in Ayodhya, Hindu prisoners were worshipping Shriram in the Central Jail here. At that time, some Muslim Police officers of the prison attacked these Hindu prisoners through the Muslim prisoners on the orders of the prison superintendent. It is being said that the Hindu prisoners gave information about this.

Pareshwar Jadhav, Ramesh Dalvi and Pradeep Mane, prisoners of Maharashtra, celebrated Shri Ramotsav on 22 ^nd January in this jail. It is being alleged that the angry jail superintendent called the prisoner Sheikh Ahmed and other Muslim prisoners to the office and attacked these Hindu prisoners. This attack was supported by other Muslim officials in the prison. A video in this regard has been circulated on social media and Hindus are expressing outrage. Hindu organisations have demanded an investigation of the Muslim jail superintendent and for strict action to be taken against him.
