TN CM Stalin announced ‘Communal Harmony Award’ to a strong Hindu-hater Mohammed Zubair

BJP protests

Chennai – Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu MK Stalin announced the State Government’s ‘Communal Harmony’ award to Muhammad Zubair, the Co-founder of the Hindutva hater news website ‘Alt News’, on Republic Day. Chief Minister Stalin praised Zubair for his work against incitement of violence through inflammatory and hateful posts on social media. Stalin said that Zubair had proved the post of alleged attack on migrant labourers in Tamil Nadu to be baseless. BJP has opposed this award.

1. Zubair will be given the ‘Kottai Amir Communal Harmony Award’. Since 2000, this award has been given to individuals in the State who have championed communal harmony. The Government says Zubair is a resident of Tamil Nadu’s Krishnagiri District.

2. BJP’s Tamil Nadu President K Annamalai said in his post on X that awarding the social harmony award to a biased and divisive formula is an insult to all who have been awarded the award so far.

Editorial Perspective

No wonder it is happening because the Tamil Nadu Government believes that ‘Extreme hatred towards Hindus is communal harmony,’ and Zubair is the ‘Yes-man’.
