Two more murtis of Shriramlalla to be installed at Ayodhya’s Shriram Temple

Shriramlalla’s murti in black stone

Ayodhya (Uttar Pradesh) – ‘Shriram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Nyasa’ had asked three sculptors to carve murtis for the pranapratishtha of Shriramlalla in the Shriram Temple. Among these three, the murti made by Arun Yogiraj was selected and installed in the temple. The Trust informed that the remaining two murtis will also be installed on the upper floors of this temple. The photographs of these murtis have been circulated. One of these murtis is made in black stone, while the other murti is made in white marble. The height of both the murtis is 51 inches. These murtis are also standing on the lotus.

The black stone murti is carved by Ganesh Bhatt (Age 62). He is from Idagunji, Karnataka, and has made thousands of murtis of Ganesh, Vishnu, Deity Hanuman, and Adi Shankaracharya for many temples in India and abroad, including in the Britain, Germany, France, USA and Italy.

White marble murti

The second murti is carved by sculptor Satyanarayan Pandey (Age 65) from Rajasthan. This murti is made in Makrana white marble. Satyanarayan Pandey is the son of famous sculptor Rameshwar Lal Pandey of Jaipur. His family has been making marble sculptures for the past seven decades.
