Mandya (Karnataka) – In the village of K.R. Pete here, a 19-year-old youth named Sayyad Tabrez lured a 15-year-old Hindu girl into a love trap. Hindu organisations have accused this case of being an instance of Love Jihad and have protested here. After the girl’s parents lodged a complaint with the Police, the Police found the girl and the youth. Hindu organisations have demanded that this case be handed over to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
Editorial Perspective
Strict laws are needed to curb instances of Love Jihad; however, such incidents also highlight how necessary it is to provide education on Dharma to Hindu girls. |
